Race Date
With the resignation of John F. Kennedy, GA-18 is holding a special election tonight to fill its vacant state senate seat. The district was Trump +21 in 2024, and five Republicans and one Democrat are on the ballot. Georgia plays by runoff rules, meaning if no candidate receives 50%+1 vote tonight, we will have a runoff between the top two votegetters.
Polls close at 7pm ET, and you can follow us here for live results.
