Race Date
Tonight, voters in Alabama House District 63 - the part of Tuscaloosa that includes the University of Alabama campus and its surrounding neighborhoods - are heading to the polls to pick a new state representative.
The race pits Republican Norman Crow, a well-known Tuscaloosa City Councilman and University of Alabama alumnus with a long local résumé in business and public service, against Democratic challenger Judith Taylor, a community leader and longtime chair of the Tuscaloosa County Democratic Party who’s stepping into the spotlight as a first-time candidate.
Polls close at 8pm ET.
